| College girl falls accidently from moving bus, dies | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 19: in a tragic road mishap, a student of 5th semester of Hiranagar Degree College lost her life when she accidentally fell from a bus at Dyala Chack. Meanwhile, an elderly man was killed in a road mishap last night at Kalluchack falling under the jurisdiction of Gangyal police station.
Police sources said, "The deceased has been identified as Karuna Sharma daughter of Kewal Krishan of Samba."
They said that the student was returning home after attending her college and accidentally fell from the moving bus which resulted severe injuries to her.
"Critically injured girl was rehashed to nearby hospital but she succumbed to her injuries on the way to hospital, sources said while adding, "later her body was shifted to the mortuary of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu for post-mortem."
Police said that a case in this connection has been registered at Hiranagar Police Station and further investigations are on. Meanwhile, an elderly man was killed in a road mishap last night at Kalluchack falling under the jurisdiction of Gangyal police station.
Police said that the elderly person has been identified as Jagdish Raj (60) son of Chajju Ram of Bishnah who received fatal injuries after he was hit by an unknown vehicle at Kaluchack.
Police said that the injured was sifted to GMC&H where he failed to respond the treatment. |
