Strike of Mechanical workers enters 5th day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 19: All Mechanical Workers Union indefinite strike entered 5th d day due to which the medical services at Super Speciality Hospital have remained paralyzed. According to press release, it was informed that due to indefinite strike of the workers the functioning of Super Specialty Hospital has been completely affected where OPD and Dialysis centre of the hospital are completely shut down. The President of the union, Puneet Sharma said that the Head of the Hospital administration shall be responsible for any loss, damage to the sophisticated machinery there. He said that the Department has forced them to go on strike as notice in advance was given to the authorities listing their demands which included release of 30 months pending wages/salaries to the workers and to introduce policy for regularization. He threatened that unless their demands are not met and written order issued, the strike will continue. |
