Poor BSNL services irk border people | | | Early Times Report
Hiranagar, Sept 20: To express anguish over the poor connectivity of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) especially internet services subscribers mostly businessmen, farmers fraternity of Gopalachak, Border area has criticized the authorities for their pathetic attitude for not providing better services. Pritam Kumar, a local, said that people brought the problem of poor connectivity into the notice of BSNL authorities but no action was taken to provide relief to its subscribers. They alleged that due to poor landline, mobile and internet services of the BSNL, people are suffering. The concerned authorities are least bothered about the plight of the consumers while inflated bills are served them every month. Kumar alleged that the concerned authorities are mum over the issue and no one appeared bothered to solve the problem. He added that not only general public but army deployed along International Border also faced similar problem as poor connectivity affected their works too. People warned to start an agitation against BSNL authorities by blocking national highway if no action is taken to provide better services especially internet connectivity. They demanded proper services so that people especially students heave a sigh of relief as nowadays internet has become necessary for every work either to submit any school form or any form of recruitment. |
