Awareness veterinary camp organized 9/20/2016 10:51:58 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 20: An awareness cum free veterinary camp was organized at Dap Karam Din under Veterinary ARCD Centre Shamachak on the other day. The camp organized by VAS Shamachak witnessed healthy response from local farmers holding dairy and poultry in the surrounding areas. LDO Jammu Dr Pran Nath Koul and CAHO Jammu Dr R S Charak attended the camp as resource persons who spoke on various subjects related to poultry and dairy species. Speaking on occasion, LDO Jammu Dr P N Koul apprised the framers about the various centrally sponsored schemes concerning dairy and poultry units along with the improvement in routine managemental practices/diseases occurring in the poultry birds and animals. Meantime CAHO Dr Charak Jammu also apprised the farmers regarding various schemes adopted by the deptt.
