Narco-peddler held with 3 kgs ganja 9/20/2016 11:26:21 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 20: In continuation with Operation 'Sanjeevni' drive against drug mafia launched by SSP jammu Sunil Gupta, Police today apprehended one notorious drug peddler alongwith consignment of contraband weighing upto 03 kgs which was recovered from his possession during naka at Narwal locality. Police sources said, "The accused has been identified as Raju Pradhan son of Trinath Pradhan of Taanpur distt Nayaharh." "Following input of movement of narcotics peddler, police team laid a special naka in Narwal locality and intercepted above said accused for his suspicious movements in the area, police sources said They said, "On search of his belongings and personal frisking police team recovered 03 kgs of narcotic drug (Ganja) from his possession which was meant to be sold among the youth of District Jammu." "In this connection a case under FIR no 195/2016 u/s 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered against accused at Trikuta Nagar Police Station, police sources added.
