India reacts but Pakistan selects each word and expression. It has been always in a denial mode right from the beginning of the turmoil that swept Kashmir for the last 91 days. And the denial mode assumed new dimensions when the Indian troops carried out a surgical operation at two places across the LOC. Pakistan, initially, denied it had any knowledge about the surgical operation. Later it said that surgical operation could not be possible with Pak troops on the alert on the border. It complained on the floor of the UN General Assembly that even the UN Military Observers Group (UNMOG) did not report about the surgical operation. Well one does know it fully well that UNMOG officials take a peg or two and go to bed by 11 P.M and the operation was carried out during the midnight when the UNMOG official were snoring. Possibly Indian troops took advantage of this snoring and went ahead with the surgical operation. And later Pakistan said that the surgical operation was meant to kill Pak troops. A clever move because people saw more than 38 militants having been killed during the surgical operation and Pakistan would have not been so foolish to admit that during the surgical operation militants were killed. Hence it blamed the Indian troops for killing Pak forces which could allow Pakistan to retaliate. And during the last four days Pakistani troops have remained engaged kin ceasefire violations. And Nawaz Sharif as Prime Minister of Pakistan weaves a fairy tale. He says that the Indian troops have been violating the ceasefire. For the sake of argument if the Indian troops have violated the ceasefire how was it that some soldiers belonging to India and some civilians were killed and injured. If the Indian troops violate the ceasefire agreement how was it possible that about one lakh border villagers right from Kathua to Akhnoor and to Poonch are displaced and have migrated to safer places? A lie has no legs to stand upon. But Nawaz Sharif wants his lies have legs to stand upon. Which side has been helping infiltration? Pakistan and none else because Pakistan has opened arms camps, more in number than the industrial units, where militants are given arms training. From these arms camps they are brought on the launch pads for getting pushed into Jammu and Kashmir.
