Man dies of burn injuries, woman attempts suicide 10/8/2016 10:53:34 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 8: An elderly man who suffered burn injuries allegedly after cooking stove burst at his residence on Friday succumbed today at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) while a woman sustained injuries after she allegedly set herself ablaze at Bishnah area. The deceased has been identified as Inder Lal (60) son of Tirth Ram of Bandu Rakh. Police sources said that yesterday Inder suffered burn injuries at his residence after cooking stove burst. Police said that he was shifted to Government medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) where doctors stated that he suffered 90 percent burns. Today during treatment, he failed to respond the treatment and after legal formalities, the body was handed over to family members for last rites. Police have already registered a case in this connection and started further investigation. Meanwhile, 35 year-old woman identified as Rajni Devi wife of Pritam of Batara Chak Bishnah sustained burn injuries after she allegedly poured kerosene oil on her body and set her ablaze.
