Now, POK Prime Minister wants Permit to J&K | | | Syed Junaid Hashmi
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 11: Seeking to trace his roots, Prime Minister of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) Raja Farooq Haider has appalied for being permitted to travel to J&K. According to reports appearing in newspapers and portals of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK), the POK Prime Minister has asked his staff to ready the required documents and submit the same with the Pakistani authorities for being processed. The reports further claim that the POK Prime Minister has asked the Pakistan government to take up the issue with indian authorities so that his being Prime Minister of POK does not lead to him being refused to travel to his birthplace. He has indicated that he would like to travel to Kashmir via Srinagar-Muzaffarabad Bus Service and not through train, the reports claim. They further say that Raja Farooq Haider being son of Muslim Conference (MC) leader and orginally an inhabitant of Poonch on this side of Jammu and Kashmir has made this move purely for political reasons. Analysts and keen observers maintain that Raja Farooq Haider is a dummy Prime Minister of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) who does what Pakistan wants him to do. They maintain that the move is purely aimed at showcasing that POK is independent in real sense and that the government is free to choose what it wants to do. "Prime Minister of POK is from Pakistan Muslim League (N). One needs not to be told how independent he would be in taking any decision," said an analyst. They added that it is merely a political stunt and nothing serious. "He is more than welcome if he wishes to come back to his home. But if this is aimed at whipping up passions and propogating the Pakistani propoganda, then we know how to counter this move. Pakistan is not going to get anything out of this new political drama," said a political analyst. He maintained that the POK premier should return to his roots and expose oppression of pakistan in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. |
