Poonch, Oct 15: Public Health Engeenring (PHE) daily wagers, casual labours, need bases and land cases workers held a massive protest under the chairmanship of district president Maqbool Hussain in Poonch against the anti employed policies of the state coalition government and raised slogans against chief minister, deputy chief minister and PHE minister.
A large number of workers and political and social leaders participated in the protest. According to the sources a convention in this regard was held at PHE base in front of Dak Banglow Poonch where the speakers condemned all anti employees policies.
Workers said that they are on strike for 32 days and their demands are not been heard. State secretary of BJP Sunil Gupta, NC youth provincial president Ajaz Jan, BJP leader Pardeep Sharma, Congress leader Taj Mir, Insaaf Movement chairman Javid Iqbal Reshi, NC leader Surjan Singh, Shakil Ahmed, Rishi Dutta chairman PHE DH, Surindar Kumar CP worker president, Sushil Kumar secretary CP workers Pardeep Kumar, Munish Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Shafiq Baba, Sanjay Dutta and Balwindar Kumar were presented the occasion.
A rally in this regard was convened by the workers to deputy commissioner office to give a memorandum to higher authorities. |
