| SI turns 'genie' to appease lady politician | | Picks up Mehandi designers presents them at Banquet Hall | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 15: A Sub-Inspector of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) who is posted as in-charge of a police post in Jammu city arranged Mehandi designers for a powerful lady politician here on Saturday.
Sources told Early Times on the instruction of a well known female politician the Police Officer took the Mehandi designers to a Banquet Hall where female leader along with her friends was waiting for Mehandi designing.
The SI, sources said, on the instructions of the "powerful lady" sent his subordinates to city areas where designer were busy in Mehandi designing on the occasion of Karwachoth. "Some Mehandi designers were picked up and taken to a banquet hall to appease the lady," sources added.
Not only this, Station House Officer (SHO) of the area abandoned his police station and official work remained at Banquet Hall till the Mehandi designing function got over.
Sources claimed some police officers these days are leaving no chance to appease the politicians by doing their personal works. Politicians in turn give them postings of their choice by influencing some senior officers. |
