Centre to go slow on dialogue with separatists | Wants elimination of last terrorist | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 15: The Centre has decided to adopt go slow policy on holding dialogue with separatist leadership in Kashmir valley in view of their involvement in Kashmir turmoil and over three month long unrest in Valley. High placed sources told Early Times that Centre has decided not to waste time and energy in holding parlays with separatists who are the brain behind present turmoil in Kashmir by instigating the local youth to take to arms and attack government buildings and security forces Sources said in view of prevailing situation in Valley where subversive elements ruling the roost, Centre has decided first to weed out all terrorists from Kashmir a prerewuisite for restoration of peace and tranquility in Valley. Once terrorism is completely eliminated from Kashmir the ground will automatically become smooth for holding the dialogue process in Kashmir , sources added . Sources said Centre following the recent Fidayeen attacks from across the border, the Centre will also put on hold dialogue with Pakistan and instead it will concentrate in getting Pakistan declared a terrorist State for which India has already taken initiative. Sources said Centre will not. Make any compromise with terrorists and instead intensify its war against terrorism and Pakistan. |
