Huge pit in Janipur turns death trap for commuters; MLA unmoved 10/15/2016 10:34:26 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 15: A huge pit on ever-busy Janipur road has failed to attract the attention of state BJP president and MLA Jammu West. The erratic digging of the road leading to a big pit on Amphalla to Janipur Road has turned out to be death trap for the commuters as well as vehicle pliers. From last two weeks the pit is causing traffic jams also, but it appears the same is not an issue for the MLA concerned. A Facebook user posted on his wall the issue and exposed the development claims of so-called leader of the area. The post evoked huge reaction with the netizens criticizing the BJP and its MLA for their failure to repair or fix the road for last two weeks. A netizen Vikram Slathia commented: "They (BJP) are opportunists, must be exposed. We don't need ribbon cutting leaders." Vinod Dogra said, "Please let them enjoy the hangover. Inkye Acchay Din hain. Election abi bahut door hain...We are the culprits. We choose them and let them rule us. GOD save us." Another netizen Abdul Aziz Qureshi said, "Three days back it took me three hours from New Plot to main stop Janipur. I did not see any traffic cop or local police person. This is very unfortunate situation.
