BMO Darhal places three employees under suspension | | | Early Times Report Rajouri, Oct 15: After getting several complaints from the public against the staff of health centre under the Darhal health block in Rajouri district, the Block Medical Officer (BMO) suspended three employees after he found them absent and health sub centre locked during his surprise inspection. "Taking cognizance of the absence of employees during working hours, the BMO Darhal Dr Iqbal Malik paid a surprise visit to Sub-centre Bhangai Block Darhal on the inputs of absenteeism from the locals of the area and found all the employees namely Zahir Ahmed Pharmacist, Mrs Nasreen Akhter, FMPHW and Mrs Shagufta Shaheen (FMPHW under NHM) posted in the said Sub-centre absent from their duties," official spokesperson said. Official added that the sub-centre Building was also found locked at 2:00 PM and thus taking stern action, visiting official placed all the three absent employees under suspension, whereas order for slashing the salary of Mrs. Shagufta Shaheen (FMPHW Under NHM) for Three (3 Days) also stands issued. Dr. Malik further said as per the instructions of Minister for Health and Medical Education Bali Bhagat, if any employee shall be found non- serious towards his/her duties, due action under rules shall be taken accordingly against him/her. Dr Malik also disclosed a calendar for Medical camps at far flung areas scheduled in next month. |
