| Armed robbers loot cash from J&K Bank manager | | |

Srinagar, Mar 12: Armed robbers on Monday morning looted cash from a J&K bank manager in Kapran village of south Kashmir's Shopian district, police said.
Quoting sources, GNS news agency said that a group of men stopped the bank manager traveling in his car (JK18-8375) at Kapran and looted around 6 lakh cash.
A senior police while confirming the incident said that a party from the concerned police station has been deputed to the spot to investigate the incident.
"Police has taken cognisance of the matter and a case FIR number 72/2018 under sections 395 RPC & 7/25 Arms Act has been registered. Investigations has been taken up," said a police spokesman. |
