Desh Bhagat Yadgaar Committee remembers Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 29: Desh Bhagat Yadgaar Committee remembered the three Martyrs of Motherland Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Rajguru and paid rich tribute to them for their struggle for freedom. According to press release, seminar was organized at Gurudwara Guru Nanak Dev Jee Complex Chand Nagar, Jammu under the leadership of Comrade Sukhdev Singh Convener of the Committee in which senior trade union leaders, Prominent Citizens attended the function and shared their views. On the occasion the Award of Honour was given to Late Comrade Daljeet Singh Rehmat Founder Member of the Desh Bhagat Yadgaar Committee. The award was given in lieu to their dedication towards Humanity and mankind Also an memento was given to Master Mohan Lal Jee as an Souvenir by Desh Bhagat Yadgaar Committee. While speaking on the occasion Comrade Sukhdev Singh said we salute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their martyrdom day and salute to their indomitable valour and patriotism that inspires generations. In the prime of their youth, these 3 brave men sacrificed their lives so that generations after them can breathe the air of freedom in India. Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were sentenced to death in the Lahore conspiracy case and ordered to be hanged on 24 March 1931. The schedule was moved forward by 11 hours and the three were hanged on 23 March 1931 at 7:30 pm in the Lahore jail. The participants said that they would agitate with the British government to tender apology for executing Bhagat Singh. Comrade Jamil Ahmed Kazmi, Comrade Rithander Koul (Retired DIG) Balkar Singh, G.L Chanda Ravi Singh Bhau while speaking on the occasion said we appreciated the lawyers who had take up the matter for reopening the case of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Jee. The speaker appealed the Central government that they will take up the matter with England Government for the bringing back the belongings of Shaheed Udham Singh ji from England. The participants also appeal the central Government that the Sons of Soil be also given to the Shaheeds. Kifayat Student Leader Mohit, Parvinder Singh, Tulsi Dass Langeh, also attended. AISF also attended the function. The speakers also appeal to the Government of J&K to address the demands of citizens. Those who speaking on the occasion including Advocate J.A.
