Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 29: A week after the incharge Chief Education Officer Kishtwar ordered detachment of all teachers and Masters posted in far flung areas of Zone, politically influential teachers enjoying attachments in Kishtwar city have managed to block the said order.
As per the details available with "Early Times", in charge CEO Kishtwar Javed Ahmed Kichloo after taking strong note of attachment and deployment of teachers, masters and other teaching and non teaching staff from rural schools to city schools vide circular No. CEO/K/18/13280-91 Dated 20-3-2018 ordered for immediate detachment of teaching staff of Zone Padder/Marwah/Warwan/Kuntwara and Binoon areas of Zone Drabshalla, but the order is yet to be implemented in letter and spirit.
Sources said that only around 10-15 teachers/Masters are attached on Court orders or on solid grounds including security grounds while only few teachers/masters had the approval of competent authority while rest of the attachment orders were issued by the CEO office Kishtwar in violation of the set procedure.
Meanwhile the tentative 2017 data available with "Early Times" reveals that around 231 teachers and masters are working in attachment capacity in various zones of Kishtwar District majority of which in Kishtwar zone. Out of the teachers working in attached capacity, 56 were from Nagsini zone, 94 from Kishtwar zone, 58 from Drabshala Zone, 5 from Inderwal Zone, 12 from Padder Zone and 25 from Marwah Zone.
According to the said data, more than 100 teachers are attached in schools which are located at District Headquarter Kishtwar and its surrounding areas where the student strength is far less than from schools from which they were attached.
The sources said that only one teacher attached in ZEO office Nagsini on security ground was detached after CEO Kishtwar vide Order No. CEO/K/2018/16118-25 Dated 27-03-2018 directed the ZEO Nagsini in this single order to detach the said teacher while CEO Kishtwar seems to be silent as far as detachment of other teachers is concern.
Speaking to "Early Times" the said teacher said that he was being victimized and alleged discrimination in implementation of the order of the CEO.
