| JK climbers win silver, bronze medal in national championship | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 29: Climbers of Jammu and Kashmir performed well in Ist IMF National Sports Climbing competition for visually challenged by winning one silver and a bronze medal. According to press release the inaugural edition of the competition for visually challenged climbers witnessed a galaxy of international technical officials and other dignitaries of the game converging on Jammu to be a part of this unique national event which concluded at Sprawling Buds ICSE School, Jammu.
Whereas in the Girls category Sumitha, Mala Kolkar and Kavya NR of Kanataka bagged the first three positions and cash prizes of Rs. 7000/-, Rs.5000/- and Rs.3000/-respectively, in the Boys category Nandeesha Janardhan of Karnataka, Waseem Akram and Mohd. Azam, both of J&K clinched the Gold, Silver and bronze medals and cash prizes of Rs. 7000/- , Rs.5000/- and Rs.3000/- respectively. |
