2 - day health, screening camp held under NHM | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 8: National Health Mission organized a two day health cum screening camp under Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Kot Bhalwal. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Yashpal Sharma, Mission Director, NHM said that various activities are being conducted across Jammu & Kashmir during Swachhata Pakhwada "Swachhata Se Sidhi" campaign (w.e.f 1st to 15th April 2018). In series of these events the RBSK camp was held at Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, Kot Bhalwal and the NHM in collaboration with other line departments will organize such health awareness & screening camps, in every district of the state. The inaugural function was attended by Dr Yashpal Sharma, Mission Director, NHM, J&K; Dr Gurjeet Singh Director Health Services Jammu, Dr Sameer Mattoo, Director Family Welfare, Mr Raja Ilyas Khan, SDM kot Bhalwal, Chief Medical Officer Jammu , Officers from Directorate of Health Services, Jammu, Dr. Dimple, ZEO, Bhalwal, Tersem Lal Gorka, Dr. Manzoor Ahmed, Block Medical Officer, Bhalwal, Programme Managers from State Health Society Block Medical Officer Officer Bhalwal and senior Officers of other departments. At the end of two days camp at Kot Bhalwal, 2165 Children from various schools, anganwadi Centres and madrasas were screened by RBSK Mobile Health Teams. Specialist consultations were provided to 956 children and out of which 55 children were identified for providing financial assistance under RBSK for their further evaluation & treatment at tertiary care health institutions. |
