Martyrs of Rajouri remembered

Rajouri, Apr 8: During week long Rajouri Day celebrations by Sangarsh one day Self Purification Fast for Peace and Harmony at the Martyrs points Gujjar Mandi Chowk, organized on Sunday, and floral tribute paid to the martyrs.
VC Pahari Board, Kuldeep Raj Gupta remained as the Chief Guest on occasion in which Sangarsh activists held the fast for humanity. Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said that SANGARSH Movement is playing great role in upholding the cause of general concerns and the convention of weeklong celebrations for the last few years is in real sense promoting Rajouri Day with special emphasis to evolve young generation with ethics, values and historical perspectives.
Gupta further said that he has remained the witness of that black era of 1947 when Rajouri got illegally occupied by the Pak sponsored tribal guerrillas and how valiantly Indian forces recaptured Rajouri on 13th of April 1948.
Interacting Secretary Sangarsh Adv.Israr Mirza opined that the collective fast by the persons of different faith aims for the common emancipation of humanity. District Coordinator SANGARSH Muneer Mirza appealed to common masses to get deep rooted with the legacy and to work for the glorious future. Mirza also appealed to the students to participate in the Display Your Talent contest to be held on 10th and 11th of this month.
Later in the evening to break the fast Abdul Qayoom Mir ADC Rajouri provided juice to the activists and hailed the efforts for Self Purification and service towards humanity. Those prominent who took part in full day fast includes Vishal Pahari, Muzzafar Mughal ,Joginder Gupta, Adv.Tariq Mehmood ,Gulchain Singh ,Ayub Pathan ,Imtaiz Malik Ishfaq Mirza ,Rajeev Kumar, Asif Mirza ,Hadi Mirza Mintu Bhatt ,Shivender Kumar ,Adv.Zulifqar Ali ,Mukhtar Shah ,Gulnaz Kamlak ,Pardeep Kumar ,Ashok Singh and Suneet Singh.
