Early Times Report Kishtwar, Apr 9: Scheduled Caste Youth Welfare Association (SCYWA) has appealed state government to address their genuine demands without any further delay. According to press release, a meeting of SCYWA was held under the chairmanship of Ajeet Bhagat Chairman of the J&K Scheduled castes Scheduled Tribe backward classes Mazdoor Sang (United) and presided over by its District President Hakiket Singh. The meeting stressed that all existing vacancies in government departments should be notified immediately so that the unemployed persons could apply and get a job for their livelihood various speakers stressed that the results of candidates who have appeared in various Interviews should ne declare at the earliest. The meeting emphasized that rules concerning reservations quota must be adhered to in respect of all appointments and promotion. Ajeet Bhagat demanded that in respect of class IV posts the rural candidates should performing so that even under matriculation could be considered and absorbed. Bhagat urged and appealed Mehabooba Mufti the Chief Minister of the state for issuing directives to the private sectors for providing employment/ reservation to SC/ ST/ BC youths especially in Hydro Electric power Projects in Kiru, Kawar, Pakal-Dul, Bursar, Karthi Paddar and Rattle Drabshalla. He urged upon the CMD (NHPC) New Delhi to fix quota for SC/ST/BC community Bhagat urged and appealed the central Power Minister to advertise and fill up the vacant post received for SC/ ST/ BC quota of the Distt. Kishtwar the association also demanded old age pension, Handicap Pension, Implementation of BPL Scheme, and IAY, PMRY, GRY, self employment, Safran compensation, agriculture, Horticulture and water shed scheme . |
