| Kupwara, Apr 8: The Roads and Building division Kupwara has failed to provide information under Right to Information Act (RTI) in stipulated time and have probably thrown the RTI application into back burner. An RTI activist Wasim Mir had filed a RTI plea to R&B Department Division Kupwara, seeking information about Expenditure of funds, details of employees, amount released, supply order etc. under development in Kupwara from 2015 till date in Division Kupwara, details of tenders and quotations thereof and details of vouchers. "But the concerned R&B Xen has failed to provide information within time period, said RTI activist. The RTI activist has appealed R&B Minister to intervene in the matter and demanded strict action against R&B Xen for not providing information under RTI act 2009. |
