| Youth arrested for incriminating FB post | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Apr 24: Rajouri police have booked and arrested a youth for a sensitive post on his Facebook page posted by him that has hurt the sentiments of majority community.
The youth has been booked under section 153-A (Promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc.) and has been identifies as Sanjeev Kumar @ Sonu s/o Davinder Nath r/o Siot and presently at Rajouri.
"The boy shared this photograph on his Facebook profile and the photograph contained some objectionable remarks which hurt the sentiments of a particular community" said Yougal Manhas, SSP.
He added further investigation into the matter is in progress and has appealed all the sections of the society not to make it a issue between two communities as the wrong act of an individual has been taken note of and legal action has already been initiated against him. |
