KATHUA, Apr 24: The opening ceremony of two-day long "2nd Sports Meet for Staff & Trainees-2018" was held at Police Training School (PTS), Kathua. The events/games which were played after the opening ceremony include Volleyball, Badminton, Tug-of War, Basketball and Kabaddi in which various staff members and trainees of "4 Months Intermediate Class Course" participated actively and displayed their talent, spirit, physical and mental strength coupled with exemplary discipline.
The Tug of War match was played between Trg. "A" & Indoor which was won by Trg "A" Team while Volleyball matches were played between six teams and PTS Administration & TRG "A" teams entered into the final.
The Basketball matches were also played between six teams and Admn. & Outdoor Teams entered into the final. 8 match of Badminton (Singles) were played between different players and the players who have qualified for the semi finals include Ranjit Kanwar,SSP (Principal), Insp Sanjeev Kumar, Insp Pankaj Sharma and SI Rakesh Singh. |
