| Idol of Maa Kali installed | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 24: An idol of Mata has installed in Shiv Mandir, Ustad Mohalla here today at a grand religious function held in temple premises.
A hawan was also performed on the occasion for consecration of the Maa Kali idol before their installation on the sanctum sanctorum.
The function was followed by a community Bhoj in which a large number of devotees from all sections of society took part.
Speaking on the occasion, the managment committee said that the Shiv Mandir has an ancient history and it is revered by people across all sections of the society.
They said that the idol symbolize true glory of Almighty and also absolute supremacy of Maa Kali's Shakti, the destroyer of evil.
