Jammu, Apr 24: Annual Sikh Sabhya chaarak Mela was organized by Five Members Committee, Sikh Sabhyachar Committee, Simbal Camp at village Simbal Camp Ward No.l, with great zeal and devotion. In the Mela religious quiz competition, sports, bhangra and other activities were perform by the local youths. Seminar on anti drugs was also conducted. S. Charanjeet Singh Khalsa, Hon'ble MLC, J&K, State was chief guest on the occasion, S.Harjinder Singh Raina, Member DGPC, Jammu and S. Surjit Singh Ji Missionary were guests of honour. Prize distribution ceremony presided over by chief guest and guests of honour. S. AjitPal Singh, Ex Secretary, DGPC, Jammu, S.lnderpai Singh, S. Parmeet Singh,S. Kuldeep Singh Bhatti, S. Gurmeet Singh, S.Tarlochan Singh Ex. Pardhan, S. Jasbir Singh Jassi, S. Ramneek Singh, S. Jasbir Singh Billu prominent among who organized the mela with support of local public. General public raised demand for induction of S. Charanjeet Singh Khalsa in the State Cabinet because for last long span of period no sikh community member has been inducted in the State cabinet as minister. A large numbers of people witness the mela. Five members committee thanks ' general public for cooperation. |
