Day 9, work paralyzed in govt treasuries

JAMMU, May 1: On 9th day of the pen down strike of clerical cadre, the work in government treasuries remained paralyzed across the state. The clerical cadre observed complete pen down strike on the call given by Coordination Committee Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association.
Today the Coordination Committee Jammu Kashmir Ladakh All Department Clerical cadre led by Babu Hussain Malik, Ravi Singh Bhau, Anil Mehta, Ashish Sharma, Bharat Bushan, Gurmeet Singh, Ashok Singh, Yash Paul Sharma, Bharat Bushan Kotwal, Meenakshi Sharma, Mohd Saleem, Munish Kumar and others had visited several offices complex in Jammu Province and raised slogans against collation Government.
While speaking on the occasion they rejected the announcement of finance minister regarding formation of another pay anomaly committee. They added that despite assurances, the Government has back tracked and not honored its commitment even the directions of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir in SWP No. 3058/2015.
They added that the clerical cadre is the backbone of the state administration and unfortunately, our contribution is always ignored by the Government and our genuine issues have always been sidelined and has treated as bonded labourers and given step motherly treatment.
