Foundation of Vidya Bharti School laid in Billawar

Kathua, May 1: Foundation stone of another Vidya Bharti School in Billawar area was laid the foundation stone of school building complex a mega project in the name of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Mandli (Billawar) District Kathua. The foundation stone was laid by Surinder Attri General Secretary Vidya Bharti North zone Kurukshetra in the presence of Pradip Kumar Sangthan Mantri Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K, Prant Saiti members, prominent citizens of Billawar, villagers of Mandli and school management and staff members. The programme started with Saraswati Vandana and a few cultural programmes were presented by the students of BVM Mandli & SBY BVM Dadwara. Pradip Kumar in his address said that since the opening of school in 2011 the school was functioning in the house of Sh. Chander Bhushan a prominent social worker who generously gave the building to the Samiti without charging any rent till date. Surinder Attri lauded the efforts of the local members and villagers especially to Chander Bhushan and said that the people of Mandli Billawar are really committed for the development of their future generation as they are providing moral monitory, land and other necessary requirements for constructing the school buildings and running the schools.
