Jammu, May 21: All India Congress Committee (AICC) members today staged protest demonstration against unprovoked firing and cross border terrorism of Pakistan. Pakistan should stop trans-border terrorism and unprovoked firing on J&K border and ALC said Ashok Sharma, National Co-ordinator, Congress Vichar Vibhag and Chairman, J&K Rahul Gandhi Youth Brigade while addressing protest against Pakistan on Anti-Terrorism day, the 27th death anniversary of late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi held at border Village Kamoor in Ramghar Sector, J&K. The people raised slogans against Pakistan for continuous unprovoked firing and killing of innocent civilians despite being holy month of Ramzan. The speakers expressed their resentment for loss of human and cattle life as well as loss of property of people living near International Border due to unprovoked firing by Pakistan. Rich tributes were paid to the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and he was remembered for his historical contribution with respect to launch of India in communication technology, decentralization of powers empowering of Panchayati Raj institutions and fast all round development besides strengthening the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country. He did not compromise to his principles and gave supreme sacrifice to unite India. About 150 widows and poor victim women were distributed free ration kits remembering the great soul. Prominent among those who addressed the gathering were Jangir Hussain Mir, Murtza Khan, Vinod Sharma, Ashok Dubey, Zaid Malik, Jatinder Bhagat, S.Teja Singh, Ankush Raina, Munish Raja, R.S.Bhatti, Yesh Paul Sharma, Madan Lal Sharma, Parveen Bhagat among others.
