| Retired police personnel hold protest in favour of demands | | |

VIJAYPUR, May 21: The All J&K Retired Police Personnel organized a protest against the state government a here today at Block Ground.
The protesters led by chairman Ajit Singh and district president Raghubir Singh raised anti-government slogans said that the state government is adopting a discriminatory attitude with the retired police personnel.
They demanded that the state police personnel, who have retired, should be treated at par with the retired army personnel.
They said that the retired police personnel have been demonstrating for their demands since long but the state government is ignoring them. The protesting retired police personnel warned that if their demands are not conceded by the state government at the earliest then they will be forced to launch a massive protest demonstration. |
