| P.Y.S Organized folk dance festival | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, June 4: Progressive Youth Socity (Regd.) Ram Nagar District Udhampur J&K organized a programme titled 'Folk Dances of Duggar' at Suhanjana Jammu in collaboration with Ministry of Culturel Govt. of India in which three renowed cultural troups namely J.R. Sharma "Jackson" Cultural Troup, Vijay Kumar and Party, Mohan Lal and party enthralled the audience.
Parshotam Sangra was the chief guest whereas Dr. Jagdish Raj Sharma presided over the function. The programme started with welcome address by Manoj Kumar Sharma "Nishchint" President of progressive Youth Society followed by Guru Vandana by Vijay Kumar and Party. Different Folk Dances of Duggar like Geetry-Mashar uddri pudi gaya. Kaliya we kanwa, Surma Nimma Nimma, Paranda la Ladeo and Jattar etc. Mesmerized the gathering O.P Deepak Coordinator P.Y.S conducted the proceedings of this function. |
