Early Times Report

Jammu, June 4: Despite Kashmir centric politicians advocating talks with Pakistan and their stooges in the Valley, neighboring country and the terrorists sponsored by it are leaving no stone unturned to bleed India.
Just one week after the DGMO of Pakistan ensured his counterpart in India that his army would implement 2003 ceasefire agreement in letter and spirit on the borders, the Pakistan army resorted to unprovoked firing in Pargwal sector of Akhnoor along the International Border in Jammu. Two BSF jawans were martyred in the firing.
A defence analyst while talking to Early Times said, "History stands testimony to the fact that Pakistan has always backstabbed India. The people sitting there are least interested in peace.
They derive sadistic pleasure by killing human beings."
He said, "Pakistan has always misread our desire for peace as our weakness. Our political leadership needs to take a call and avenge the killings of our jawans and the people who keep on falling prey to the bullets fired from the other side."
Referring to situation in Kashmir the analyst said that as a goodwill gesture the Government of India had announced Ramadan ceasefire in the Valley but that has been torn apart by the terrorists.
"During the past few days terrorists have been throwing grenades at will across the Valley and have injured scores of people, including the CRPF jawans. Someone needs to ask the people at top why they are turning our jawans into sitting ducks?" he said.
A politician said, "When BJP was in the opposition it used to mock at the Congress led government for being weak and incapable of handling terrorism and Pakistan. Prior to 2014 the saffron party made tall claims and had even promised people that it would take back Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) from Pakistan. During the past four years of its rule it has not even taken an inch back and in addition to that has turned the border people and our jawans into canon fodder."
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has still got one year left in the office. "He has to rise above the politics and take a call to destroy the terror camps in the PoK. He needs to give army a freehand to cross over to the other side and take back the PoK so that terrorists and the Pakistan arte pushed on the back foot. People are not interested in rhetoric anymore and they want results," the politician added.
