3 booked for rape and fraud | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 4: Satwari police today booked three persons for committing fraud and rape with a local girl. Police sources said that few months ago a person namely Jatinder Nagpal along with Shinda and Chaman of all residents of Dhariwal, Punjab came in contact of a local girl and introduced themselves as officials of a business company and offered her to join their business. The complainant further alleged that the above mentioned persons also asked them to make chain of 30 more members to gain more profit. "As per them, the girl managed joining of 30 more persons and all of them started giving premium to them", complainant alleged in the complaint adding that one of three identified as Jatinder Nagpal developed physical relations with her after luring her on various pretexts. Police quoting the complainant said that after some time the trio failed to respond the complainant and sensing fraud the girl reported the matter to police. Acting on the complaint, police registered a case under FIR no. 96 of 2018 under sections 376, 420 and 109 of RPC at Satwari Police station. Police said that further investigation is on in this matter. |
