| Free dental check-up camp organized | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 14: A free Dental Check up and awareness camp was organized by 32 Healthy Teeth- Multispeciality Dental Hub, Dogra complex, SIDCO Chownk, Bari Brahmana at Lupin Limited.
Panel of Doctors team namely Dr. Dheeraj Sharma (BDS, MDS), Dr. Alpna Sharma (BDS, MDS),& Dr Rohini (BDS,MDS) carried out a comprehensive dental check up of all the employees. The camp was initiated with dental awareness talk and PowerPoint presentation by Senior Consultant Dr Dheeraj Sharma, about common dental ailments, especially stressing on tooth decay and gum diseases and measures to prevent from them.
The employees were highlighted about the eating patterns and food choices which cause tooth decay. The surgeons also highlighted about the possible formation of harmful acid which develops when bacteria (plaque) get in contact with sugar in the mouth which ultimately results in tooth decay. "Added sugars often are present in soft drinks, candies, cookies, pastries and therefore to help control the consumption of sugar one must read the food labels and choose the right foods and beverages that are low in added sugar", the dental surgeons added.
HR of company Dheeraj dhawan who also graced the occasion and said that "Health is Wealth". He guided the staff members about being healthy and adopting healthy habits. "The sooner a disorder is spotted and treated, the better the chance of successfully treating it": Following this Rajinder Raina and Satish saraf HR of company thanked the doctors for giving the healthy tips to the employess of the company. |
