| Maintenance of Zorawar Singh park by the NCC cadets of MAM College | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, June 14: The NCC Cadets of 2 J&K Boys Bn. of Govt. MAM PG College Jammu today participated in cleanliness drive as a part of 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' under the supervision of Capt. (Dr.) Karan Singh, Associate NCC Officer of the College.
Under the banner of 'Swaahhta hi Sewa', scores of NCC cadets participated in the drive and cleaned the General Zorawar Singh Memorial park at Jammu.
The principal of the college Dr. Anita Sudan appreciated the efforts of the NCC cadets and encouraged the cadets to take such initiatives in future also.
Cadets also pledged on the occasion to keep the surroundings neat and clean.
Speaking on the occasion, Capt. (Dr.) Karan Singh, Associate NCC Officer of the College said that we should adopt this drive in our locality as a small step to keep whole nation clean. |
