Jammu, June 14: NHPC organized sports tournament under the aegis of Central Power Sports Control Board. After selection trials for above sports, Yoginder Kotha, Head of the Power Station today inaugurated the Table Tennis tournament after lighting the lamp in a function held here at Dulhasti Power Station for selection of NHPC regional team.
In this sports meet the regional teams for NHPC Kabaddi &Table Tennis will be formed by Dulhasti Power Station for which a committee of experts & officers has been constituted comprising of Subhash Chandra, Javed Kriapak, VN das & Vijay Bara. Speaking on the occasion the Yoginder Kotha, HOP appealed to the NHPC players hailing from J&K. Power Stations to display the talent with sportsmanship and team spirits. To promote sports & encourage the employees and youths, NHPC has its own Sports Policy. On this occasion Suresh Kumar, Chief Engineer, Dr. Nisha Sharma, CMO, Jugal Kishore Shrama, Manager (HR), Diwan Thakur, Suresh Kumar and Javed Kriapak from district sports department, Officers, employees & union representatives of NHPC were present. |
