| Youth Conference criticises DC, SSP | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, June 20: A meeting of unemployed youths of District Kishtwar was held against the harassment of youths by Deputy Commissioner and Sr. Superintendent of Police Kishtwar under the Chairmanship of Joginder Bhandari.
Rinku Sen while addressing the meeting said that the Deputy Commissioner and Sr. superintendent of Police Kishtwar are unnecessary harassing the youths of the district by way of lodging false FIR's in Police station Kishtwar against the Chairman Joginder Bhandari.
Gh. Hussain Gannie in his speech said that the police of police station Kishtwar registered fake FIR's on 29.5.2018 u/s 499/500,506,504 RPC and again on 31.5.2018 police again registered FIR U/s 505 RPC in Police station Kishtwar against Joginder Bhandari which has caused a brewing resentment among the unemployed youths of the district.
He said that the youths were demanding employment in AFCONS company but it is a matter of great concern that the DC and SSP Kishtwar are illegally interfering into the demands raised by the youths of Kishtwar and are pressing the voice of youths by way of using muscle power. It may be recalled that on 29.5.2018 the deputy commissioner Kishtwar through his PA telephonically spoke to Joginder Bhandari to appear in DC office Kishtwar where the deputy commissioner closed the doors of his office and started using abuse and unparlimentzty language followed by a slap on the face of Chairman Joginder Bhandari after that he was illegally detained in Police station Kishtwar.
Ajay Sharma while speaking on the occasion said that when the youths again raised their voice in respect of their genuine demands, the police of police station Kishtwar again lodged FIR against Joginder Bhandari u/s 505 RPC which is totally illegal. |
