Two posts of patwaris shall not be filled up: HC | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 20: In a petition filed by petitioners aggrieved of impugned action and inaction on act of respondent authorities in not bringing to the logical conclusion, the recommendations made in favour of petitioners by the respondent authorities qua adjustment/appointment against the post of Patwari for the last so many years, despite being fully eligible and having undergone the requisite Patwar training on the basis of sanction accorded by respondent authorities. Vacation Judge of J&K High Court Justice Sanjeev Kumar after hearing Adv Anuj Dewan Raina appearing for the petitioners, ordered that subject to objections and till next date before the Bench, the respondents are directed to consider the claim of the petitioners for appointment to the posts of patwaris in accordance the assurance coupled with the recommendations as contained in annexures and to pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks. Till such decision is taken by the respondents on the claim of the petitioners, two posts of patwaries shall not be filled up in terms of advertisement. |
