Why BJP suddenly reminded of Mukherjee's balidan divas? | BJP-PDP split drama farce on people: Bhardwaj | | Early Times Report
Bishnah, June 21: Senior Congress leader Mohinder Bhardwaj has said that the erstwhile partners in loot of Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP and PDP have enacted a farcical drama of parting ways and indulging in blaming each other for having destroyed the state. Both of them are equally responsible for pushing the state to brink of disaster on all fronts including security and economy. Commenting on the BJP's decision to pull the plug and plot downfall of its own government, he said that it is nothing but a clear admission by the saffron party of total failure of its government both at the Centre and in the state in resolving the existing crisis as also to provide good governance as was promised by the two coalition partners. "The Jammu and Kashmir state had faced the worst phase of its existence under the BJP-PDP government which functioned under the direct control of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Modi as well the BJP's local leadership owe an explanation to the people of the state as to what led to sudden fall of the government. Is it due to political compulsions or something else had brewed behind the curtains?, he asked. Bhardwaj expressed surprise that the BJP leaders have been suddenly reminded of their founder ( of erstwhile Jan Sangh) Syama Prasad Mukherjee once again after losing the power as the party has planned a show to observe his 'balidan divas' as during the last three years the occasion had almost disappeared from the BJP leaders' minds. "Why is the day being observed at a big scale this year and why was not it done so when BJP was sharing power with PDP during the last three years? The BJP should explain its stand even on Mukherjee publicly. |
