Script of BJP pullout was written on May 29

Early Times Report

Jammu, June 21: The BJP move to pullout from the coalition Government in Jammu and Kashmir was not abrupt but a well thought decision, script of which was
written a month ago during Amit Shah's meeting with Choudhary Lal Singh and Ravinder Raina. Even as former minister and MLA Choudhary Lal Singh along with State BJP president Ravinder Raina played a major role in influencing Amit Shah to decide the pullout, both of them as well as top leadership of the party at Centre and State were unaware of the action so early till last moment.
According to the sources in the BJP circles, script of the pullout was written on May 29 when former minister and MLA Choudhary Lal Singh along with State BJP president Ravinder Raina had met Amit Shah at New Delhi. During the meeting that lasted an hour, Amit Shah took feedback from both Lal Singh and Ravinder Raina, who apprised him of the unprecedented resentment of commoners against the Coalition Government and more particularly BJP, sources added.
Amit Shah, who is eyeing only on 2019 Lok Sabha polls, took cognizance of the feedback and without wasting more time, he rushed secret teams from non-BJP, non-RSS background to the Jammu Kashmir for verification of the resentment against the State Government. However, sources said, the entire mission was kept a top secret and this can be gauged from the fact that even the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh was not aware of the secret team visiting Jammu Kashmir. These teams visited different pockets of Jammu region on the pretext of exploring tourism potential and submitted their reports to AmitShah, last week. In their reports, all the teams corroborated the feedback given by Lal Singh and Ravinder Raina, sources said. Without wasting more time, sources said that Amit Shah immediately brought the matter into the notice of Prime Minister Narinder Modi, who accorded green signal for the BJP pullout from coition Government thus paving way for Governor's rule in Jammu and Kashmir State.
