Early Times Report JAMMU, June 21: On the auspicious occasion of Eid, Adbi Kunj organized a multifaceted literary meet here today. In the meet, various writers, poets and other intellectuals greet Muslim brothers and sisters on the eve of Eid. They expressed hope that this auspicious occasion would bring peace & prosperity in the state and bonds of communal harmony will be strengthened. The meet was presided over by renowned poet Mohammad Sarwar Chouhan Habeeb while another poet Pawan Khajuria and renowned poetess Neelam Verma were the guests of honour. In the musical session, singer Chaman Sagoch and Mohd Sarwar Chouhan specially sang naat of Aarash Om Dalmotra and Sham Talib where Sarwar Chouhan Habeeb read out an Urdu Paper 'Eid-Keya-Hai'. In the multilingual poetic session, various poets recited their Kalams. The poets who participated in the meet includes Aarash Dalmotra, Mohammad Sarwar Chohan Habeeb, Neelam Verma, Kalu Ram Salgotra, Bishan Dass Khak, Chaman Sagoch, Rajeev Kumar, Jia Lal Verma, Sanjeev Kumar, S.K. Gupta and Sham Talib. The vote of thanks was presented by Aarash Dalmotra Chairman of Adbi Kunj Jammu. |
