| Awareness camp organized | | | Early Times Report
HIRANAGAR, June 21: J&K State Women's Development Corporation organized an awareness camp at village Nonath tehsil/block Gagwal district Samba.
The camp was attended by (Kuldeep Singh Pathania District Manager Women's Dev. Corporation Kathua/Samba, Ex-Naib Sarpanch Badri Dass , Social Worker Dev Raj, Balbir Singh & other prominent peoples. The women were made aware about state / centrally sponsored schemes launched and sponsored by the women's Development Corporation for up-liftment of women.
Speaking on the occasion, District Managar Kuldeep Singh Pathania Kathua JKWDC Jammu, stressed upon the participants to take advantage of central sponsored schemes like NMDFC, NBCFDC, and NHFDC including Education loan and also one scheme implemented namely Empowered Skilled Young Women (ESW) under Sher-E- Kashmir Jammu and Kashmir State. They urged upon the women to take benefit of the schemes and establish their own income generating units by way of loans available at nominal interest rates to become self-reliant.
Badri Dass Ex- Naib Sarpanch of the area also spoke on the occasion about Beti Padao BEdi BAchao. About 50/80 Women/ Men participated in the camp. |
