Residents of Dhok Paloura stage protest against contaminated water supply

Jammu, July 4: LYC President Jammu Poonch and JKPCC member Thakur Hoshiar Singh and Guru Ravi Dass Mahasabha Paloura president Dr. Rajpaul Hans alongwith Youth Congress activists and local residents from Ward No 60, area Dhok Paloura today held a strong protest against the PHE department over the water supply in the area.
He said that it had been years since the people of this area had been facing proper water supplies, now when the water supply is bit normal the issue of dirty water coming in from pipes is another problem for the residents. Raising this problem with the concerned department PHE, Youth Congress Leader and LYC President Thakur Hoshiar Singh today said that despite many reminders and many requests regarding this issue, the PHE officials are not taking any action to resolve this, therefore we alongwith the people of this area have decided to come on streets and protest against these Corrupt workers of PHE department who are supplying Poison like water to people.. Youth Congress has decided to hold strong agitation if the issues are not addressed soon by PHE officials.
