JAMMU, Aug 10: Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region organized a MCH and Immunization Camp in Sanghresh Vidya Kendra School, Martha Colony, Trikuta Nagar and Slum Areas of Channi Himmat, Jammu.
Besides providing immunization women and children in good number were educated about the general cleanliness, oral hygiene and how can they all live a healthy life. A general quiz about health related issues was also conducted wherein the children and the women folk actively participated and they were given the prizes for their encouragement.
The camp was headed by Dr. Kavita Nijhon, Medical Officer along with Tripta Devi, LHV, Sangeeta Devi, FMPHW who were assisted by. Amar Dei Helper. Further Dr. Kavita Nijhon delivered lecture on Sanitation and its importance in day to day life. |
