| Dy Director Library makes mockery of SBA | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 9: The premises of the Deputy Director Library Jammu make a mockery of the Prime Minister's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan as the building is fast deteriorating and becoming a picture of neglect and concerned authorities remain nonchalant to the whole issue. The pictures of the office speaks volumes about the negligence of the concerned authorities towards the cleanliness of the buildings. The premise is filthy and stinking and dense grass has come up in most places due to poor maintenance. Moreover, in the building, the garbage has been dumped which has led to filthy environment. There are no proper means of disposal and no dustbins have been provided either. The sanitation facility is inadequate to meet the needs of the visitors but authorities are loath to address the problem. One of visitor alleged that the concerned authority had almost abandoned the park. Instead of providing the better environment to the visitors, it has become a health hazard and no one is bothered for its bad condition. |
