| Inter School District Level Tournament for Girls held | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 9: Inter School District Level Tournament for Girls U/19 yrs in the sports discipline of Speed ball, Thai Boxing, Belt Wrestling and Thang-sa-do for the year 2018-19 of District Jammu gets underway today here at Indoor Complex MA stadium Jammu.
In all 80 Girls are drawn across from 14 Zones of Jammu District are taking part in the competitions. The competitions are being organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports under the patronage of Shiekh Fayaz Ahmad, Director General, Youth Services and Sports and under the overall supervision of Madan Lal, Joint, DYSSO Jammu. While Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu is the organising Secretary of the said tournament. While addressing on Opening ceremony in presence of all the ZPEO's, concerned officials of Jammu District, Chanchal Kour DYSSO Jammu encouraged the participants to play with full enthusiasm and spirit. The main objective of the competitions is to select the teams of Jammu District for the next level of competitions i.e Inter District, Division Level Competitions. Result Speed ball Girls U/19 yrs, Single, is Janvi Sharma of SD Tara Puri Jammu bagged first position, 2nd Position won by Komal Devi of Lord Shiva Day Boarding School and Janvi Gupta of May Fair HSS Jammu bagged 3rd position. And double, Mansi Slathia and Arya Gupta of Govt HSS Shastri Nagar bagged 1st Position, Pooja and Anamika of May Fair HSS Jammu bagged 2nd.

Janvi Gupta of May Fair HSS Jammu won 1st position, Komal Devi of Lord Shiva Day Boarding School bagged 2nd position and Arya Gupta of Govt. HSS. Shastri Nagar bagged 3rd. |
