Poonch, Dec 3: Indoor patients being treated for various ailments in the district and Sub district hospitals sans the basic facilities like heating systems in Harsh winters, sources said here today.
The hospitals in Sub divisions Surankote, Mandi, Mendhar and the lone district hospital Poonch have not been facilitated with heating gadgets or any other alternatives as a result of which the patients admitted in these hospitals for treatment of respective ailments have to shiver during the harsh winter days sources said, adding from December to January the weather remain more harsh and cold intensifies in the district.
While talking to Early Times, chief medical officer Poonch, Dr Muntaz Bhatti said, we are going to arrange water bottles and room heaters for them sooner until some permanent heating arrangement in the hospitals is being done. |
