| Officials seize flat, inquiry ordered | | Subletting of flat in Jagti | | Early Times report
Jammu, Dec 3: Officials of Relief and Rehabilitation (Migrants) Department seized a flat at Jagti migrant township after locals lodged complaint with the department that the original allottee had sublet the same to a Kashmiri Pandit family.
Chand Ji Zadoo said that his family shifted in Flat no. 14, Lane no 3, Block 12 after paying Rs 1.30 lakh to one Dalip Raina who was original allottee of the flat. He also claimed that he had also renovated the same flat recently.
Other allottees complained about the incident following which officials of Relief and Rehabilitation (Migrants) Department seized the flat and started inquiry into this matter.
Meanwhile, one Chaman Lal also stated that he had paid money for this flat to Dalip Raina.
ML Raina, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner while talking to Early Times stated that he had ordered seizure of the flat while inquiry into this matter has also been launched to unveil the facts. |
