| Release pending wages of 3405 need base workers, demands AJKNB/CLWU | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 3: Demanding release of the pending wages of 3405 need based casual workers without any further delay, the All J&K Need Base/ Casual Labour Workers Union (AJKNB/CLWU) stressed upon the authorities of PDD Department to fulfill the assurances made in this regard in the past.
Addressing a press conference here today at Press Club of Jammu, the president of the Union, Akhil Sharma demanded release of pending wages of 3405 workers at the earliest, continuous payment of monthly wages besides implementation of SRO 381.
Sharma said that the due to the indifferent attitude of the authorities and non-fulfillment of the assurance made with regard to release of pending, the working class are forced to observe a two-day long strike on December 5 and 6.
He informed that the protest will be held in front of the office of the Chief Engineer, EM&RE Wing Jammu. |
