CP Workers, Land Donors stage protest march to highlight demands | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 3: All J&K PHE ITI Trained CP Workers and Land Donors Association today staged a strong protest march from Press Club of Jammu to Civil Secretariat to highlight its demands. Raising the slogans in support of their demands, hundreds of protesters under the banner of their Association made a futile attempt to move towards Civil Secretariat for its gherao but they were prevented by the police to proceed further. The protesting CP Workers and Land Donors alleged that they are suffering badly due to non-payment of wages and regularization. State president of the Asscoaition, Tanveer Hussain appealed to the Governor to address long pending demands of poor daily wagers Hussain said that it is shameful that daily wagers are on road for release of their wages, which are pending for the last three months but the state government has shown no concern. He said Government failed to keep their promise of releasing salary on Eid, Rakha Bandhan and Diwali. He said that our families are starving but the department is not serious towards our issues. He said government should immediately release all pending wages of the daily wagers without any delay. |
