| DLSA organizes legal awareness camp at Gandala | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Dec 3: Under the direction of SLSA & guidance of chairman District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Udhampur organized a legal awareness camp on Panchayat Ghar Gandala with regards to observance of International Disability Day.
On the occasion, Sandeep Kour Secretary (Sub Judge) DLSA Udhampur apprised the public about their legal rights with special emphasis on disables. Dr Janak Raj, DHO Udhampur, Dr Ronak Sharma Consultant Hospital Udhampur, Tilak Raj Tehsil Social Welfare Officer along with the retainer lawyers Pankaj Mangotra, Pawan Honda, Tarun Kumar, Sunny Mahajan and Brijesh Kumar along with Panchs and local people were present on the occasion. Two persons namely Shoba Devi and Anshu were provided wheel chairs while walking stick was provided to Madan Lal on the spot. The district social welfare officers and Retainer Lawyers informed the public about the various schemes for their welfares. Lastly, Secretary DLSA Sandeep Kour concluded the program by describing the various legal aid schemes being carried out by the District Legal Services Authority from time to time. |
